 Kindergarten Lesson Outline

I am developing a set of lessons for Kindergarten, insha Allah. The outline is below. In the meantime, links below guide to online resources and printables to practice/introduce a certain concept.

In addition to the outline, it is a good idea to do daily calendar activities to help develop math skills such as order and counting.

Reference/Wall/Display & General Aids for K Math

Here are a few printables that you might want to hang or display:

1 - 10 Train (shows the numbers 1 -10). Its really a worksheet, but you can cut out the train and put together to make a number strip to use for counting or reference.

11 - 20 Train (shows the numbers 11 - 20)

Here are a few handy printables to use for lessons (for writing practice)

Primary Kindergarten Writing Paper (landscape)

Primary/Kindergarten Writing Paper (portrait)

These sheets show how to form numerals, plus provide practice.

Sheet showing how numbers 1-5 are formed, plus writing practice

Sheet showing how numbers 6 - 10 are formed

Tip: Make cards out of the above and laminate. Use for instruction and writing practice for each number, one at a time .
