Third Grade Math Outline

The following is a sequential outline of our Third Grade Mathematics book as well as resources related to each concept. I thought it might be helpful for those trying to put together their own math program.

This is a work in progress that will be added to as we go along insha Allah.

Addition: Sums to 10 self explanatory

1st Assessment        
Place Value: Hundreds, Tens, Ones identify which digit is in the ones, tens,  hundreds place, writing numbers with a certain amount of hundreds, tens, ones      
Comparing Numbers three digits with three digits and three digits and 2 digits      
Ordering Numbers Given numbers, student puts them correct order      
Place Value: Thousands self explanatory      
Comparing/Ordering numbers in the thousands self explanatory      
2nd Assessment        
Addition: no renaming        
Addition: renaming ones        
Addition renaming tens        
3 or more addends 3 + 4 + 5      
Addition practice renaming, no renaming, adding thousands, adding hundreds, etc, basically review      
Addition with more than one renaming 14 2 + 189 (must rename tens and ones)      
Problem solving: too much information is given
