Spelling Lists

Tip:

Some homeschoolers use a more natural approach to spelling than spelling lists. Many pick out words from other subject areas or from reading selections that the student is currently reading and use these as their spelling lists.

Where possible, try to base the words upon one or two specific phonetic concepts (phonograms/phonemes) to make learning the spelling easier, insha Allah, rather then having to memorize the whole words by sight.
