For a child to write, fine motor skills must be developed. Here are some activities to help develop fine motor skills
Although infants and toddlers do not require a formal curriculum (in my opinion), here are some activities and links for working with your youngsters and developing important skills. Activities/skills include daily floor play, reading, language, gross motor, basic concepts, and toys. Links to resources for infants and toddlers as well.

Dramatic play (fancy name for role playing or just plain play) can be an excellent way to help your child develop his/her thinking and social skills. It can also be just an excellent opportunity for you to spend time with your child and help develop those skills as well as help increase your child's vocabulary.
